2005. FAKED-UP CASE
Following the comprehensive audit of economic activities of the Chabukiani Ballet Art State School, carried out by Control Chamber of Georgia in 2004, that had discovered a fact of theft, the Georgian Procurator's Department has produced a letter of accusation against Tamaz Vashakidze.
The comprehensive audit, which the acts became the basis of a faked-up accusation, deliberately did not take into account the fact that revealed theft regarded the period before 2001, when Tamaz Vashakidze was not director of the school and had nothing to do with its financial and economic activities. Thus he is accused of the crime committed at the times of the previous director of the Ballet Art School B. Baramidze.
