On December 8, 2005, Tamaz Vashakidze holds a press-conference, where he addresses people of Georgia and accuses authorities of illegal and inhuman persecution of himself and his family.

VERDICT
On December 9, 2005, the day when Tamaz Vashakidze left Georgian territory, he was put on wanted list.
On the same day the court sentences him in absentia to three months of imprisonment with an indication of place in a prison No. 5 which contains particularly dangerous prisoners for the authorities, and where previously his father was in detention.

Since that day within three years investigators of the procurator's department and Georgian Interior Ministry intrude brassively at any time of the day to Tamaz Vashakidze's house, making search, humiliating members of his family, interrogate his wife N. Kitia in the presence of the children and threatening with prison, if she doesn't say where her husband is.
